SVA Solution We specialize in preparing grey Imports which may require an SVA or Enhanced SVA ( ESVA )inspection from VOSA ( Department for Transport ). The SVA scheme is a pre UK registration inspection. It applies to most imported vehicles that are not already type approved to British or European standards. The scheme has been designed to ensure that vehicles have been designed and constructed to acceptable UK safety and environmental standards before they can be used on public roads. At SVA, the imported vehicle is compared against a Model Report. This is our core business and we strive to deliver a 1st class product. Our speciality is Japanese vehicles, although we cater for anything that needs to be SVA tested. On most vehicles, some modification is needed to meet SVA requirements. Once SVA'd, the vehicle then needs an MOT (and insurance) before it can be registered with DVLA, who issue the new UK registration number. We use up to the minute electronic control units in our conversions,
all of which are designed in-house, ensuring that the latest vehicles are
not damaged by sub-standard methodology. We will handle all aspects of your
imported vehicle homologation issues. |
